a switch in kit's designing patterns and routine : red star home (by puma)

recently i saw the return of the big brands (nike, adidas, umbro, puma, penalty) to a more simplistic style of designing kits, after the ''crazy looking'' '80s they just choose to return to the old roots, the old style if we can say...

apart from the old american kits (as photo below)

where we can see the number and the club name in different positions, influenced by american football i suppose, all the other world's kits remain the same as for the badges positions through out time..little changes were of course but they just were to ''weird'' like in the '80s as i said.

now that financial gain out of selling replicas is strong in the market,a lot are reluctant to change what a fan likes to wear, and i can understand it..

but,if we see kit making like fashion making, where is progress ? after discovering all the possible styles if i may say,we can see a lot of brands using similar patterns -apart the three lines of adidas-in their designs nowdays..

so after snatching some patterns of various innovative and some times extremistic designs for a football kit,i thought to give a go with my imaginary brand, gamma.

For a start, red star home kit by puma :
